Description

Finished another concentration piece. This one is number 8/12 in the series, and the 9th completed piece.

Quarantine: After hours lab work, the doctors discovered John Doe’s deadly virus is unknown and very contagious. The doctors had no choice but to put him in a quarantine. The dark green tiled floor represents sickness and how strong the virus has become. He can not hold his baby daughter or hug his wife due to the contagiousness. All visitors must be monitored by medical personnel, and all medical personnel must wear protective suits and gloves to protect them from the virus or in case something happens. Since he is so weakened from the virus, he needs help just to stand up and walk. Due to some of the other symptoms, John Doe is still on oxygen and an IV. Jane Doe, their baby and other visitors are forbidden to go inside the quarantined room since they do not have protective suits or training. The exit is very close for visitors to leave quickly in case of an emergency. The sign outside the room and the other signs around the room warns about how going inside is very risky and dangerous. The big white thing next to the biohazard sign is an isolation trolley. Isolation trolleys are used to deliver any important supplies to the patient and prevent physical contact with others. The crash cart is very close to the room in case of an emergency. There is a cross inside the room symbolizing faith and comfort. There is a window next to the cross. The window shows a stormy view of the outside world. This represents sadness and loneliness that John Doe and his family are feeling.
